The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. It can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even clean up pet hair without much difficulty. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better in the future with new models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without interruption. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It is able to build detailed floor maps, detect different types of flooring and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage while moving through the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel is a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile and carpet tests. It was not as efficient at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
